House Drawing

one might think that houses these days are not "just" a rectangle but this house is my boyfriends house and it is a rectangle there is "nothing special" about it but it is a house that has only four outside walls and not any more than that. it does have a small brick wall that makes up the "front porch" i guess. the wall is about three feet high and runs in front of most of the house. there is a run down shack on the other side of the gravel driveway. this house is hard to see from a birds eye view on Google Earth because it is surrounded by a lot of trees.

distance between planes and scale.

parts of the project, space, & planes.
4) how does the joinery support the project concept/strategies?
the structure and breaking the skewers.
5) how is scale utilized in te project?
equal parts, what type of conversation is being used, & different sizes.
6) how do two-dimensional images add to the understanding of the project?
you can get more detail out of a two-dimensional image than a three-dimensional image sometimes.
7) how did the initial project idea evolve?
using previous ideas to work from and precidents.

comparing unity project

my unity project had a grid like structure to it. David Harrill's project also had a similar grid look to it. there was the difference of how the paper was used. David used his paper horizontal and flat poking the skewers through the paper. I used my paper by folding it and weaving it trough the 12 skewers. david's project had all of the skewers on a vertical plan leading your eye up . i had four of my skewers horizontal and six of my skewers virtical and two of them leaning against the top of the horizontal shewers to help hold the project up. david had all of his skewers holding his project up. in some ways david's project and my project are similar but in other ways they are different.

i first started out with a grid and then weved the paper through the skewers. then i proped the grid up with two skewwrs
